Del Norte County Municipal Code § 9.48 Firearms

It is unlawful for any person to carry on or about his person any revolver or pistol or concealed weapon without first having obtained permission therefor from the board of supervisors provided that the sheriff and district attorney can concurrently grant to any person temporary permission to carry such weapon until the next meeting of the board of supervisors, and every person having such weapon shall surrender and deliver it to any peace officer immediately upon demand, whether they have secured such permit or not.

It is unlawful for any person or persons to shoot, fire or discharge any rifle, pistol, or revolver, upon, over, across, along, or into any lake or slough Of the County.

It is unlawful for any person or persons to shoot, fire or discharge any rifle, pistol, or revolver upon, over, across, along or into that certain body of water known and designated as the Smith River, at any place or places between the mouth of the Smith River and that certain stream of water known and designated as Myrtle Creek, all of which part of Smith River being within the county of Del Norte.

Any person or persons violating the provisions of Sections 9.48.20 and 9.48.30, or any of them, is guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punished in accordance with the provisions of Section 19, of the Penal Code of the state of California.

It is unlawful to discharge firearms of any kind or nature in the county within the area between the northerly and westerly city limits of Crescent City along the beach of the Pacific Ocean and the northerly section line of Section 13, Township 16 North, Range 2 West, Humboldt Meridian, the west line of Section 16 and 21 in Township 16 North, Range 1 West, Humboldt Meridian, and the north line of Section 17 and 18 in Township 16 North, Range 1 West, Humboldt Meridian.
