2.24.10 Consolidation Of Offices

The office of county coroner and the office of county sheriff are consolidated.

2.24.30 Unclaimed Property - Holding Period

The county sheriff shall keep and maintain all unclaimed person al property coming into his possession in a convenient and safe place, whether the property comes into his possession by finding or maintained as evidence or otherwise, and shall hold the unclaimed property for a period of at least six months.

2.24.40 Unclaimed Property - Transfer To Purchasing Agent

After a period of six months, unclaimed property shall be transferred to the County Purchasing Agent for disposition pursuant to Section 2.33.035 of this code.
