9.42.10 Title For Citation¶
This chapter shall be known as the "juvenile alcohol preclusion act."

9.42.20 Minors In Public Places¶
It is unlawful for any person under twenty-one years of age to have a blood alcohol content equal to or greater than .01 percent while in any public place within Del Norte County.

9.42.25 Effect¶
This chapter does not make unlawful any act expressly permitted or expressly prohibited by the general laws of the state of California.

9.42.30 Violation; Penalty¶
Punishment for violation of this chapter shall be by a fine not to exceed two hundred fifty dollars, incarceration for not more than thirty days or by a combination of such fine and such term of incarceration.
Any person over eighteen years of age who violates the terms of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
Any minor under the age of eighteen years of age who violates the terms of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
Any minor under the age of eighteen years of age who violates the terms of this chapter shall be dealt with under the provisions of Welfare and Institutions Code section 602 as if he or she were guilty of a misdemeanor.

9.42.40 Violation By Minor; Detainment¶
Any minor violating the provisions of this chapter may be immediately apprehended and lawfully detained and cited, or arrested.
