18.32.10 Permits For New Off-Site Signs¶
Permits for new off-site signs may be allowed only in accordance with this title. Any use permit request may be denied where it is determined by the planning commission that the sign does not meet the intent of this title, the intent of county zoning and the general plan, or any of the conditions set out in this chapter.

18.32.20 Maximum Height¶
Maximum height shall be twenty feet.

18.32.30 Separation¶
The following separation distances (measured by the shortest distance) are required:
From other off-site signs on either side of road, one hundred feet.
From residences, one hundred feet.
From residential or agricultural zones, fifty feet.

18.32.40 Illumination¶
External illumination is permitted only where allowed by the commission.

18.32.50 Screening¶
The planning commission may require maintenance of vegetative screening around any portion of the structure.

18.32.60 Color¶
No fluorescent colors are permitted.

18.32.70 Term¶
The planning commission may issue the off-site sign use permit subject to any performance standards required for consistency with the intent of this title. Failure to meet required standards after notification by the county shall be grounds for revocation of the use permit and sign permit.
