3.35.10 Exercise Of Authority

The provisions of Section 1203.1c of the California Penal Code, authorizing the court to require a convicted criminal defendant to pay, as a condition of probation or conditional sentence, the reason able cost of his or her incarceration in the county jail, is made applicable to and of force and effect in Del Norte County.

3.35.20 Collection

The Treasurer of Del Norte County is hereby designated as the officer responsible for the collection of any costs imposed under the authority of Section 3.35.10. The Treasurer is the designated County officer with respect to all duties of such County officer pursuant to Section 1203.1c of the California Penal Code.

3.35.30 Determination Of Reasonable Cost

The reasonable daily cost of incarceration in the county jail shall be determined as set forth in Section 3.28.30 of this code.
