1.20.010 Consolidated

Pursuant to the authority contained in Section 71042 of the Government Code of the State of California and, after a public hearing pursuant to notice according to law, the Klamath judicial district and Crescent judicial district are consolidated into one judicial district.

1.20.020 Name

The name of the consolidated district is designated as Del Norte County judicial district.

1.20.030 Boundaries

The boundaries of the Del Norte County judicial district shall be the same as the boundaries of the county of Del Norte. The official map of the county of Del Norte shall be the map referred to in Section 71042.6 of the Government Code.

1.20.040 Place Of Trial Or Hearings

The place of trial or hearings in the Del Norte County judicial district shall be either at the former Crescent judicial district courtroom in Crescent City or the former Klamath judicial district courtroom in the new Klamath Townsite subject to the approval of the judge of that district and the mutual agreement of any parties to litigation pending therein. In the event the parties cannot agree, the order of the judge as to the place of trial shall be final.
