2.21.010 Exclusive Control Of The County

Pursuant to Government Code Section 27770, the appointment and tenure of the Chief Probation Officer of Del Norte County shall be governed exclusively by this section, and by the Personnel Policies and Procedures established by the Board of Supervisors for the supervision and evaluation of appointed department heads.

2.21.020 Appointment, Tenure And Duties

The Chief Probation Officer shall be appointed by, and shall serve at the pleasure of the Board of Supervisors. The Chief Probation Officer shall perform such duties and shall meet such qualifications for the office as prescribed by law, in addition to such duties imposed by the Board of Supervisors.

2.21.030 Salary And Benefits

The salary, benefits and other conditions of employment of the Chief Probation Officer shall be set by the Board of Supervisors by resolution.
