2.20.10 Public Defender Services¶
Pursuant to Government Code Section 27700, the Board of Supervisors hereby establishes an office of the public defender.

2.20.20 Appointment¶
The public defender shall be appointed by the board of supervi sors of the county of Del Norte, and shall serve at the pleasure of the board.

2.20.30 Duties¶
The duties of the public defender shall be those duties as set forth in Section 27706 of the Government Code of the state of California.
