2.84.10 Statutory Authority¶
Under statutory authority contained in the California Government Code, and other codes, certain county officers are allowed to collect fees, over and above their authorized compensation, for various services rendered in connection with their offices.

2.84.20 Application; Turning In Fees¶
From and after August 22, 1973, all county officers who are entitled under state law to receive fees in addition to their authorized compensation shall apply for and receive such fees. Upon receipt of such fees the same shall be turned in to the general fund of the county.
