2.52.010 Board of Supervisors. The annual¶
salary of a member of the Board of Supervisors is established as Fifty-Three Thousand Five Hundred Seventeen Dollars and Sixteen Cents ($53,517.16). Subsequently, effective July 1, 2023 the salary of each member of the Board of Supervisors shall increase in the same percentage and at the same time as the salaries of Superior Court Judges are increased by the State of California. 2.52.020 Officers and employees. The¶
compensation for all officers, excluding supervisors, and employees of the county shall be established by resolution duly adopted by the board of supervisors. (Ord. 887 § 3, 1977; prior code § 2-17.0)

2.52.050 Expenses of supervisors-elect.¶
Pursuant to Section 25208.4 of the Government Code, the expenditure of county funds is authorized for training and orientation of persons elected, but who have not yet assumed office as a member of the board of supervisors. Such expenditures shall only be made after a written request is made by a supervisor-elect and shall only be paid according to rules established from time to time by the board. (Ord. 1646 § 1, 1988)
2.52.060 Benefits Provided to Board¶
Members. The annual salary of a board member includes the basic salary as set forth in Section 2.52.010, and such other health and welfare benefits authorized by Government Code Sections 53200 et seq., which are provided to non-Board member elected officials as set forth in the Executive and Confidential Compensation Plan, such as medical and dental benefits, optical plan and group insurance and other health and welfare benefits and deferred compensation benefits.
