10.48.010 Pedestrian crosswalk on Moccasin

Switchback Road.

A. A pedestrian crosswalk shall be established on the Moccasin Switchback Road, north of its intersection with the access road to the Moccasin Powerhouse, as marked on the ground.

B. The driver of a vehicle approaching the pedestrian crosswalk shall yield the right-of-way to a pedestrian crossing the roadway within the crosswalk. (Ord. 469 §§ 1, 2, 1966).

10.48.020 Frank J. Dondero Nature Trail. The

Frank J. Dondero Nature Trail, maintained by the county and running from the Columbia Airport northeasterly across the property of the Columbia School District to Parrotts Ferry Road, is a pedestrian pathway. No one shall ride, drive, walk or use any vehicle, motor vehicle, bicycle or motorcycle, as those terms are defined in the Vehicle Code, or any horse on the trail. Violation of this section is a misdemeanor.

10.48.030 Regulation of pedestrians. No

pedestrians, bicycles or other nonmotorized traffic shall cross the following roadways, or designated portions thereof, except in a marked crosswalk or in an unmarked crosswalk at an intersection:

On Greenley Road from its intersection with Mono Way for a distance of 0.10 miles northward. (Ord. 1918 § 1, 1992).
