11.08.010 Inspection during construction. Any

roads constructed under this title must be inspected during construction by an authorized representative of the county. Each phase of construction must be inspected and approved prior to proceeding to subsequent phases. Any road improvements constructed without inspection as provided herein or constructed contrary to the orders or instructions of the authorized representative of the director, will be deemed as not complying with Tuolumne county rules for such and will not be accepted by Tuolumne county for maintenance. 11.08.020 Final inspection. Upon completion of

road improvements constructed under and in conformance with this title and prior to requesting final inspection, the area shall be thoroughly cleaned of all rubbish and excess material and all portions of the work shall be left in a neat and orderly condition satisfactory to the director. The director shall inspect the work within ten days after receiving the request for final inspection. The contractor and consulting engineer will be notified in writing as to any particular defects or deficiencies to be remedied.
The contractor shall proceed to cause any such defects or deficiencies to be corrected at the earliest possible date. At such time as the work has been completed, a second inspection shall be made by the director to determine if the previously mentioned defects have been repaired in accordance with this title. Upon final approval of all work, the director shall prepare the necessary report and formal document and submit same to the board of supervisors for final acceptance. (Ord. 1559 § 1 (part). 1987).
