1.20.010 Arrest by public officer.

A. Pursuant to Section 836.5 of the Penal Code the public officers and employees in charge of the county departments and functions listed in subsection B shall have the power and authority to arrest and cite for violations of statutes and ordinances which such officer or employee has the duty to enforce. Any such officer or employee may designate in writing any of his/her employees to have such power and authority and when so designated such employees shall have such power and authority.

B. The following officers and employees have power and authority to arrest and cite for violations:

Airport;

Junk car abatement;

Pound master;

Sheriff;
