18.12.010 Use of firearms and hunting¶
prohibited. No person, other than a person performing law enforcement duties or authorized wildlife control, shall use firearms of any description, or air rifles, spring-guns, or any other form of weapons potentially inimical to wildlife and dangerous to human safety, or any instrument that can be loaded with and fire blank cartridges in, upon or over the airport. (Ord. 2615 ' 7 (part), 2005; Ord. 924 ' 2 (part), 1977; prior code ' 14-3.0).
18.12.020 Use of fire equipment. No person¶
shall remove or cause to be removed from its holder, container, reel, or bracket any equipment or device used in fire prevention except in case of emergency or fire. (Ord. 924 ' 2 (part), 1977; prior code ' 14-3.1).
18.12.030 Storage of materials which are fire¶
hazards. No person shall store or stock
materials or equipment so as to constitute a fire
hazard. The type and amount of combustible
material stored, to include the location and the
containers used for storage of the combustible
material, is subject to the approval of the County
Fire Marshal.
A. No flammable or combustible
materials of any type stored in hangar shall
exceed 20 gallons.
B. No open containers containing
flammable or any combustible substance shall be
stored in hangars.
C. Each aircraft hanger may store one
boat, car motorcycle, snowmobile, or other
operational motorized conveyance if the size of
the conveyance does not exceed the size of a
passenger car. No motor homes or houseboats
shall be stored in the hangars. (Ord. 2615 ' 8,

18.12.040 Waste disposal. No person shall¶
dispose of garbage, paper, waste, refuse, rubbish, or other material on the airport except in receptacles provided for that purpose. (Ord. 924 ' 2 (part), 1977; prior code ' 14-3.3(a)).
18.12.050 Waste oil disposal. Waste oil¶
drained from aircraft shall not be poured on airport grounds. Waste oil shall not be stored in the hangar but shall be properly disposed of at a location designated by the airport manager. (Ord. 2615 ' 9 (part), 2005; Ord. 924 ' 2 (part), 1977; prior code ' 14-3.3(b)).
18.12.060 Fire and Safety Inspection. The¶
County Fire Marshal shall inspect all hangars annually. If additional inspections are required to achieve compliance, re-inspection fees shall apply in accordance with Tuolumne County Ordinance Code Chapter 3.40. The County Fire Marshal shall inspect, as often as necessary, buildings and premises, including such other hazards or appliances designated by the Fire Marshal, for the purpose of ascertaining and causing to be corrected any conditions which would reasonably tend to cause fire or contribute to its spread, or any violation of the purpose or provisions of this code and of any other law or standard affecting fire and life safety. The permitted hangar user is financially responsible for any corrective measures or cleanup costs required under this chapter. (Ord. 2615 ' 16, 2005)

18.12.070 Open Flame or Welding. Open¶
flames, flame-producing devices and other sources of ignition shall not be permitted in a hangar. Repairing the aircraft requiring the use of open flames, spark-producing devices or the heating of parts above 500EF (260EC) shall not be done in an improved area or in an area conforming with Building and Fire Codes for a Group H, Division 5 Occupancy. (Ord. 2615 ' 16, 2005).
18.12.080 Annual Permit. One parts cleaner¶
per hangar meeting the requirements of California Fire Code may be used and stored if inspected and permitted annually by the County Fire Marshal. The permit issued under this section will be for permission to maintain, store, use or handle materials, or to conduct processes, which produce hazardous to life or property, or to install equipment used in connection with such activities. Such permission shall not be construed as authority to violate, cancel or set aside any of the provisions of this code. Such permit shall not take the place of any license required by law. (Ord. 2615 ' 16, 2005).
18.12.090 Construction. Any construction on¶
the airport shall be in compliance with the current California Fire Code, California Building Code, and the Tuolumne County Ordinance Code. (Ord. 2615 ' 16, 2005).
