Chapter 8 — TEMPORARY CLOSING OF STREETS

10-2700 - DESIGNATION BY RESOLUTION.

Pursuant to the authority granted in section 21101(e) of the Vehicle Code of the State of California, the Board does hereby authorize the temporary closing of a portion of any street in the unincorporated area of the county for celebrations, parades, local special events, and other purposes upon resolution of the Board, when in the opinion of the Board such closing is necessary for the safety and protection of persons who are to use that portion of the street during the temporary closing.

10-2701 - PROCESSING.

All requests for the temporary closing of a portion of any street in the unincorporated area of the County as authorized by Section 10-2700 shall be processed and reviewed by the County Department of Public Works, Permits Section.
