No person shall park or leave standing any vehicle on the following described places in the unincorporated areas of the county:

(1)

On either side or upon that road or lane known as Williamson Road running westerly from Walthall Slough to a dead end approximately one-half mile west.

(2)

Within one hundred feet of any ferry ramp operated or owned by the County on any right-of-way for highway and ferry purposes of the County.

(3)

On Poplar Street in the metropolitan area of Stockton between Wilson Way and Pleasant Avenue, a distance of one (1) block.

(4)

On River Drive on the southerly bank of the Calaveras River between its intersection with Rainier Avenue and the northeast boundary line of Riviera Cliffs Subdivision.

10-2001 - LIMITED TIME PARKING ZONES.

(a)

No person shall park or leave standing any vehicle for a longer period of time than thirty (30) minutes in the certain zone hereby established at 4423 East Main Street, beginning at the easterly side of the driveway entrance and thence running in an easterly direction, parallel to the center line of East Main Street, thirty (30) feet, more or less, to a point, between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Sundays and Holidays excepted.

(b)

No person shall park or leave standing any vehicle between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., school holidays excepted, on the following described portion of Webster Avenue:

Beginning at a point at the northerly end of Webster Avenue, said point being the centerline of said Webster Avenue and also being on the southerly property line of the John Tyler School property; thence along said center-line, in a southerly direction, a distance of one hundred twenty-six (126) feet, more or less, to a point, said point being in line with the south line of the lip of the concrete gutter on the north side of Del Rio Drive.

(c)

No vehicle shall be parked for a longer period of time than fifteen (15) minutes in the certain zone hereby established at 4339 East Main Street, beginning at a point 59 feet west of the center line of Sinclair Avenue and thence running in a westerly direction, parallel to the center line of East Main Street fifteen (15) feet, more or less, to a point, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Sundays and Holidays excepted.

No vehicle shall be parked or left standing for a period longer than twenty-four (24) minutes in the certain zone hereby established on that portion of the right-of-way of the public highway known as Kirk Avenue beginning at a point 380 feet south of the south curb line of Alpine Avenue and thence extending southerly along the east curb for a distance of 139 feet, more or less. This limitation shall be in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays excepted.

(f)

No vehicle shall be parked for a longer period of time than fifteen (15) minutes in the certain zone hereby established on the north side of East Main Street, beginning at a point approximately thirty-five (35) feet west of the centerline of Shasta Avenue and thence running in a westerly direction sixty-one (61) feet, more or less, to a point, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Sundays and Holidays excepted.

(g)

No vehicle shall be parked for a longer period of time than two (2) hours, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., in the certain zone hereby established:

Along the southeasterly side of Wilson Way, beginning at the northerly right-of-way line of Orwood Street, said line also being the Stockton city limits line, thence in a northeasterly direction along Wilson Way to the southerly right-of-way line of Stewart Street, for a distance of 960 feet, more or less.

Along the southeasterly side of Wilson Way, beginning at a point on the easterly right-of-way line of Sanguinetti Lane, said point being 2,425 feet northeasterly of the northerly right-of-way line of Orwood Street, thence in a northeasterly direction along Wilson Way to the southerly right-of-way line of Alpine Avenue, for a distance of 1,820 feet, more or less.

No vehicle shall be parked or left standing from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, Sunday and Holidays excepted, along the south side of Miner Avenue, beginning at a point on the east right-of-way line of Oro Avenue, thence running east for a distance of two hundred (200) feet, more or less, to the west side of the Stockton Unified School District property.

Along both sides of Waterloo Road, beginning at the east right-of-way line to "E" Street, said line also being the Stockton city limits line, thence in an easterly direction along Waterloo Road to the west right-of-way line of Broadway Avenue, for a distance of 4,540 feet, more or less.

Excepting therefrom that portion covered by Subsection 24 of Section 10-2000 of this code, which provides for no parking along the north side of Waterloo Road beginning at a point on the west right-of-way line of Sutro Avenue, thence running westerly on a line parallel to the center line of Waterloo Road for a distance of 255 feet, more or less, and also along the south side of Waterloo Road from a point on the east right-of-way line of Chronicle Avenue running easterly on a line parallel to the center line of Waterloo Road, for a distance of 245 feet, more or less.

10-2001.5 - PARKING SIGNS.

No parking signs informing the public of the prohibitions set forth in Section 10-2001 of this code shall be placed under the direction of the Director of Public Works.

10-2002 - ANGLE PARKING.

(a)

Pursuant to the authority of Section 22503 of the Vehicle Code, it shall be unlawful for any person to park or leave standing any motor vehicle, motorcycle or other vehicles or conveyances upon the following roadways in unincorporated San Joaquin County:

(1)

Along the east side of Mourfield Avenue, beginning at a point that is 215 feet north of the north right-of-way line of Downing Avenue, thence running northerly along Mourfield Avenue for a distance of 270 feet, more or less, unless the vehicle is parked at an angle of ninety (90) degrees, perpendicular to the curbline.

(2)

Along the east side of Lilac Street, beginning at a point that is one hundred ninety (190) feet south of the south right-of-way line of Augusta Street, thence running in a southerly direction along Lilac Street for a distance of one hundred seventy (170) feet, more or less, unless the vehicle is parked at an angle forty-five (45) degrees to the curbline.

(3)

Along the north side of Indiana Street, beginning at a point that is two hundred ten (210) feet west of the west right-of-way line of Orange Street, thence running in a westerly direction along Indiana Street for a distance of one hundred fifty (150) feet, more or less, unless the vehicle is parked at an angle forty-five (45) degrees to the curbline.

(4)

Along the east side of Orange Street, beginning at a point on the south right-of-way of Augusta Street, thence running in a southerly direction along Orange Street for a distance of one hundred fifty-four (154) feet, more or less, unless the vehicle is parked at an angle ninety (90) degrees to the curb line.

(5)

Along the south side of Augusta Street, beginning at a point on the east right-of-way line of Orange Street, thence running in an easterly direction along Augusta Street for a distance of three hundred twenty (320) feet, more or less, unless the vehicle is parked at an angle ninety (90) degrees to the curb line.

(b)

The Director of Public Works shall cause to be painted and signs erected informing the public of the angle parking requirements set forth in Subsection (a) of this section.

10-2003 - ANGLE PARKING: WATERLOO ROAD.

(a)

No person shall park or leave standing any vehicle on the following described portion of Waterloo Road in the County unless the vehicle is parked at an angle of forty (40) degrees from the curbline with its right front wheel not more than six (6) inches from the curb.

Along that portion of the east side of Waterloo Road from a portion on the east curbline of Waterloo Road eighty (80) feet northeast of the intersection of Waterloo Road and the Stockton Terminal and Eastern Railroad tracks and running thence northeasterly along the east curb of Waterloo Road a distance of four hundred sixty (460) feet.

(b)

The director shall cause to be painted upon said road appropriate markings indicating the proper angle at which vehicles shall be parked.

10-2004 - LOADING ZONES.

(a)

No person shall park or leave standing any vehicle whether attended or unattended for any purpose or length of time other than for the unloading and delivery or pickup and loading of materials in the loading zone hereby established on the west side of Mission Road, beginning at a point on the west side of Mission Road, ninety-three (93) feet north of the centerline of Country Club Boulevard and thence running in a northerly direction, parallel to the centerline of said Mission Road, fifteen (15) feet, more or less to a point, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.

(b)

No person shall park or leave standing any vehicle whether attended or unattended for any purpose or length of time other than for the unloading or delivery or pickup and loading of persons or materials in the loading zone hereby established on the east side of Hiawatha Avenue beginning at a point on the east side of Hiawatha Avenue, one hundred five (105) feet north of the north right-of-way line of Waterloo Road and thence running northerly, parallel to the centerline of Hiawatha Avenue, thirty (30) feet to a point more or less.

(c)

No person shall leave standing or park any vehicle whether attended or unattended for any purpose or length of time other than for pick up and loading or delivery and unloading of materials or persons in the

loading zone hereby established on the south side of Taft Avenue beginning at a point at the west curb line of Marshall Avenue and extending thence westerly for a distance of seventy (70) feet more or less.

(d)

No person shall park or leave standing any vehicle whether attended or unattended for any purpose or length of time other than for the unloading and delivery or pickup and loading of materials in the loading zone hereby established on the south side of Waterloo Road, beginning at a point on the south side of Waterloo Road, one hundred and sixty (160) feet easterly of the centerline of Newport Avenue and thence running in an easterly direction, a distance of forty (40) feet, more or less, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays excepted.

(e)

No person shall park or leave standing any vehicle whether attended or unattended for any purpose or length of time other than for the unloading and delivery or pickup and loading of materials in the loading zone hereby established on the north side of Miner Avenue, beginning at a point on the north side of Miner Avenue, one hundred sixty (160) feet east of the east right-of-way line of Oro Avenue, and thence extending east for a distance of forty (40) feet, more or less, to the west side of the Stockton Unified School District property, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Saturday, Sunday and Holidays excepted.

(f)

Loading zone signs informing the public of the limited parking facilities shall be placed by the Road Commissioner at the locations named above.

No person shall park or leave standing any vehicle for a longer period of time than fifteen (15) minutes whether attended or unattended for any purpose other than for the unloading and delivery or pick up and loading of materials in the loading zones hereby established on the westerly side of Rio Blanco Road as follows: first, beginning at a point that is 3,020 feet south of the south right-of-way line of Eight Mile Road, thence southerly a distance of 80 feet; second, beginning at a point that is 3,470 feet south of the south right-of-way line of Eight Mile Road, thence southerly a distance of 80 feet; third, beginning at a point that is 3,930 feet south of the south right-of-way line of Eight Mile Road, thence southerly a distance of 80 feet; fourth, beginning at a point that is 4,375 feet south of the south right-of-way line of Eight Mile Road, thence southerly a distance of 80 feet; fifth, beginning at a point that is 5,065 feet south of the south right-of-way line of Eight Mile Road, thence southerly a distance of 55 feet.

No person shall park or leave standing any vehicle for a longer period of time than fifteen (15) minutes whether attended or unattended for any purpose other than for the unloading and delivery or pickup and loading of materials in the loading zones hereby established on the westerly side of Neugebauer Road as follows: first, beginning at a point that is 370 feet northerly of the north right-of-way line of McDonald Road, thence northerly a distance of 105 feet; second, beginning at a point that is 1,085 feet northerly of the north right-of-way line of McDonald Road, thence northerly a distance of 210 feet; third, beginning at a point that is 1,400 feet northerly of the north right-of-way line of McDonald Road, thence northerly a distance of 65 feet; fourth, beginning at a point that is 1,730 feet northerly of the north right-of-way line of McDonald Road, thence northerly a distance of 65 feet; fifth, beginning at a point that is 1,910 feet northerly of the north right- of-way line of McDonald Road, thence northerly a distance of 65 feet.

No person shall park or leave standing any vehicle, whether attended or unattended, for any purpose other than for the unloading and delivery or pickup and loading of materials in the loading zone hereby established on the east side of Bruella Road beginning at a point on the north right-of-way line of First Street, thence running northerly along Bruella Road for a distance of 40 feet, more or less, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.; Saturday, Sunday and holidays excepted.

(o)

No person shall park or leave standing any vehicle, whether attended or unattended, for any purpose other than for the unloading and delivery or pickup and loading of materials in the loading zones hereby established on the north side of First Street beginning at a point that is 65 feet east of the center of Bruella Road, thence running easterly along First Street for a distance of 70 feet, more or less, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.; Saturday, Sunday and holidays excepted.

(p)

No person shall park or leave standing any vehicle, whether attended or unattended, for any purpose or length of time other than for loading or unloading of passengers in the loading zone hereby established on the east side of Cardinal Avenue, beginning at a point that is 890 feet north of the north right-of-way line of

Main Street, thence running northerly along Cardinal Avenue, a distance of 110 feet, more or less, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Saturday, Sunday and holidays excepted.

A limited Loading Zone from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, Sunday and holidays excepted along the west side of Clarksburg Place, beginning at the point that is on the south right-of-way line of Rutledge Way, thence running southerly along Clarksburg Place for a distance of 140 feet, more or less.

A limited Loading Zone from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, Sunday and holidays excepted along the south side of Rutledge Way, beginning at the point that is on the west right-of-way line of Clarksburg Place, thence running westerly along Rutledge Way for a distance of 230 feet, more or less.

10-2005 - FINES FOR INFRACTIONS.

Violation of this chapter shall be punishable in the manner prescribed by Section 42001(a) of the Vehicle Code.

10-2006 - SCHOOL BUS LOADING AND UNLOADING.

Pursuant to the authority of Section 22500(e) of the Vehicle Code, any person operating a school bus is hereby authorized to stop in front of a public or private driveway for that period of time reasonably required to load or unload passengers.

10-2007 - NO PARKING—TOWAWAY ZONES.

The following roads, or portions thereof, which are hereby designated as "No Parking—Tow-Away Zones."

(1)

Along both sides of Thornton Road, beginning at a point on the centerline of Thornton Road at the north State Highway Route 12 right-of-way line, thence running northerly along Thornton Road a distance of 2,250 feet, more or less.

(2)

Along both sides of Capitol Avenue, beginning at the point that is on the east right-of-way line of Pennant Drive, thence running easterly to a point on the west right-of-way line of Thornton Road.

(3)

On both sides of W. Banner Street, beginning at a point along the east right-of-way line of Thornton Road, thence running 1,700 feet in an easterly direction to a point on the east end of W. Banner Street, more or

less.

(4)

On both sides of Republic Way, beginning at the southerly right-of-way of W. Banner Street, thence running 750 feet in a southerly direction along Republic Way to a point on the northerly right-of-way of W. De Broggi Road, more or less.

On both sides of Flag City Boulevard, beginning at the easterly right-of-way of Republic Way, thence running 600 feet in an easterly direction along Flag City Boulevard, more or less, thence running an additional 800 feet in an easterly direction along only the north side of Flag City Boulevard, more or less.
