2-1020 - ADOPTION OF SEAL.
The seal of the Board of Supervisors shall be circular in form, the outer rim being one and three-quarter inches in diameter, within which shall be another dotted circle or rim one and three-sixteenth inches in diameter, within which inner circle shall be a scale depicting the industrial developments of the County on the one hand and the agricultural bounty of the County on the other hand, and at the base of which is the open book symbolizing the educational opportunities of the County. There shall also be depicted in the seal the forms of transportation serving the County, including the air liner, the ocean-going vessel and the streamliner. Between the two circles shall be the words "San Joaquin County, California," a representation of which seal is as follows:

2-1021 - UNAUTHORIZED USE.
Every person who maliciously or for commercial purposes without the written permission of the Board or for political purposes uses or allows to be used any reproduction or facsimile of the seal of the Board in any manner whatsoever is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not more than three hundred dollars ($300) or by imprisonment in the County Jail for not more than three (3) months, or both.
