2.87.010 - Created.¶
The veterans' service department is established. The department shall undertake to execute and coordinate the implementation of policies and directives of the board of supervisors related to services for veterans and eligible dependents of deceased veterans in processing claims under federal programs.

2.87.020 - Director.¶
The county veterans' services officer shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the board of supervisors. The county veterans' service officer shall, subject to the civil service system of the county, appoint such assistants and/or employees as are from time to time provided for the department by the ordinances of the county.
