2.37.010 - Department of airports—Created.

The department of airports is created. The department shall administer and operate the county's airports pursuant to the rules and regulations established by the board of supervisors. All existing directives and instructions previously applicable to the transportation management department with respect to the airports shall be applicable to and binding upon the director and/or department of airports.

2.37.020 - Department of airports—Director.

The position of director of the department of airports is created. The director shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the board of supervisors. The director shall, subject to the civil service system of the county, employ such assistants and/or employees as are from time to time provided for the department by the ordinances of the county.
