2.21.010 - Created.¶
The aging and adult services department is established. The department shall undertake to execute and coordinate the implementation of policies and directives of the board of supervisors related to the provision of senior and adult assistive, social and protective services and administration of public conservator and probate conservator activities.

2.21.020 - Director.¶
The director of the aging and adult services department shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the board of supervisors. The director of the aging and adult services department shall, subject to the civil service system of the county, appoint such assistants and/or employees as are from time to time provided for the department by the ordinances of the county.
