Before a medical gas or medical vacuum system is installed or altered in a hospital, medical facility, or clinic, duplicate construction documents shall be filed with the Authority Having Jurisdiction. Approval of the plans shall be obtained before issuance of a permit by the Authority Having Jurisdiction. 1304.3.1 Requirements. Construction documents shall show the following: (1) Plot plan of the site, drawn to scale, indicating the location of existing or new cylinder storage areas, property lines, driveways, and existing or proposed buildings. (2) Piping layout of the proposed piping system or alteration, including alarms, valves, the origin of gases, user outlets, and user inlets. The demand and loading of piping, existing or future, shall also be indicated. (3) Complete specification of materials.
