Tubes, valves, fittings, station outlets, and other piping components in medical gas systems shall have been cleaned for oxygen service by the manufacturer prior to installation in accordance with the mandatory requirements of CGA G-4.1, except that fittings shall be permitted to be cleaned by a supplier or agency other than the manufacturer.

Where tube ends, fittings or other components become contaminated before installation they shall be recleaned in accordance with Section 1321.8.7 and Section 1321.8.8.
