Axially swaged fittings providing metal-to-metal seals, suitable for service at 300 psig (2070 kPa) and able to withstand a temperature of 1000°F (538°C) and that, when complete, are permanent and nonseparable shall be permitted to be used to join copper or stainless steel tube. Axially swaged fittings shall be installed by qualified technicians in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. [NFPA 99:5.1.10.7.1, 5.1.10.7.2]
