Factory-installed copper outlet tubes on station inlets extending no further than 8 inches (203 mm) from the body of the terminal shall be not less than DN10 (NPS 3/8 ) ( 1/2 in. O.D.) size, with 0.4 inch (10.2 mm) minimum inside diameter. [NFPA 99:5.1.5.12]
