Factoryinstalled copper inlet tubes on station outlets extending no further than 8 inches (203 mm) from the body of the terminal

shall be not less than DN8 (NPS 1/4 ) ( 3/8 inch O.D.) size, with 0.3 inch (7.6 mm) minimum inside diameter. [NFPA 99:5.1.5.11]
