2.98.010 - Bidding procedure not required when.¶
The bidding procedures established by Sections 25526 to 25537 of the California Government Code for the lease of county property shall not be required when the duration of the lease will not exceed ten years, and the estimated monthly rental value of the property does not exceed one hundred thousand dollars.

2.98.020 - Term—Maximum monthly rental.¶
When a lease is excluded from the bidding procedure, the actual monthly rental in the executed lease shall not exceed one hundred thousand dollars, the term of the executed lease shall not exceed ten years, and the lease shall not contain an option to extend the term. The county administrator and/or the director of public works or designee is authorized to negotiate leases pursuant to this section for submission to the board of supervisors for approval.
