2.12.010 - Office created.

There is created in and for the county the office of county counsel.

2.12.020 - Appointment.

The county counsel shall be appointed by the board of supervisors to serve for the term prescribed by law.

2.12.030 - Duties.

The duties of the county counsel shall be set forth in Sections 26529, 26742 and 27645 of the Government Code of the state of California.

2.12.040 - Compensation.

The compensation of the county counsel shall be as set forth in the contract between the incumbent and the county.
