2.64.010 - Declaration of election to qualify.¶
The county of Marin, a political subdivision of the state of California, declares that it desires to qualify to receive aid from the state of California under the provisions of Chapter 1, of Title 4, Part 4 of the California Penal Code.

2.64.015 - Public safety dispatcher training.¶
Training shall be provided for all Marin County regularly employed and paid public safety dispatchers as described in subdivision (c) of Section 13510 of the California Penal Code. The sheriff shall apply for state aid for the training of such persons pursuant to Chapter 1 of Title 4, Part 4 of the California Penal Code.

2.64.020 - State standards adopted.¶
Pursuant to Section 13522 of Chapter 1, the county of Marin while receiving aid from the state of California pursuant to Chapter 1 does hereby declare that it will adhere to the standards for recruitment and training established by the California commission on peace officer standards and training.

2.64.030 - Eligibility for peace officer powers and duties.¶
A person who is issued a Level I Reserve Officer Certificate before January 1, 1981, and who is determined by the sheriff of this county to be qualified to perform general law enforcement duties by reason of the person's training and experience and is appointed by the sheriff for the performance of law enforcement duties, shall have the full powers and duties of a peace officer as provided by Section 830.1 of the California Penal Code.
