2.05.010 - Authorization.

If requested by a supervisor-elect, county general funds may be used for the training and orientation of the supervisor-elect including the payment of course fees, travel and per diem expenses, course materials and related expenses, prior to the assumption of office. Such training and orientation programs shall be limited to those which the board deems proper, beneficial and necessary to the exercise of supervisorial duties by newly elected supervisors.

2.05.020 - Procedure.

Training and orientation of supervisors-elect may be authorized by the board of supervisors upon receipt of a letter from the supervisor-elect, specifying the precise training and orientation required and the approximate cost.
