Chapter 8 — INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY

Sec. 8-8.01. - Need.¶
The Board hereby finds and declares that there is a need in the County for an Industrial Development Authority to accomplish such public purposes and to exercise such powers as provided in the California Industrial Development Financing Act as set forth in Sections 91500 et seq. of the Government Code of the State.

Sec. 8-8.02. - Establishment.¶
The Board hereby establishes the Siskiyou County Industrial Development Authority to function in the County, and it shall be known as the Siskiyou County Industrial Development Authority.

Sec. 8-8.03. - Authority.¶
The Siskiyou County Industrial Development Authority is hereby authorized to transact any business and exercise any powers permitted by the California Industrial Development Financing Act.

Sec. 8-8.04. - Rights, powers, and duties vested in the Board of Supervisors.¶
The Board of Supervisors is declared to be the Board of Directors of the Siskiyou County Industrial Development Authority with all the rights, powers, privileges, duties, liabilities, disabilities, and immunities vested in the Board of Supervisors as such Board of Directors.
