Article 2 — Electronic Access Fees

Access to the County's tax and recording information provides valuable information to businesses and members of the community. County desires to provide the most efficient methods for this information to be obtained and desires to provide access to the County's wide area network to facilitate access to databases containing the aforesaid information.

The following databases shall be available for access via connection to the County's wide area network:

(a)

Property tax (tax collector records only);

(b)

Records indexing;

(c)

Records image viewing; Additional databases may be added as requested by the department head and approved by the Board of Supervisors.

Prior to accessing the available database(s), the party desiring such access shall first obtain written approval from the department responsible for information contained on such database. Final approval will be granted by the Board of Supervisors.

The following fees are hereby established for accessing tax and recording information through the databases set forth in the preceding section.

(a) Connection fee to wide area network ..... 50.00 per month

(b) Property tax ..... $150.00 per month

(c) Records indexing ..... $150.00 per month

An additional monthly fee of Fifty and no/100ths ($50.00) Dollars shall be charged for downloading capabilities.

The County reserves the right to limit or deny access to the available databases.
