Sec. 5-7.01. - Fees to be charged.

The fees set out in Table 5-7.01 are established for the provision of Community Development Environmental Health Division services and shall be collected on all applications and activities performed by the Community Development Department. The Community Development Department is authorized to prepare administrative procedures to assist in implementing this chapter including, but not limited to, procedures for the timing and manner of collection of the fees involved.

II. ORGANIZED CAMPS

NOTE: Organized camps operating with additional elements
(such as a food facility, pool, spa etc.) will be assessed the
applicable program fees for each additional element as
specified in this section, in addition to the organized camp
permit fee. Organized camps that operate on a seasonal
basis will be billed as specified in Section XIII(D).

III. RECREATIONAL HEALTH

A. Seasonal pool/spa* $200.00 $255.00 $300.00

* For the year 2021 only, qualifying facilities within the marked categories shall receive a COVID-19

IV. WATER PROGRAM (SYSTEMS)

A. Public water systems

1) State small/Cal-code water systems (fee is $278.00 $355.00
which includes lab fees for the 4 required
bacteriological samples)

2) Water sample—resample ($60.00 plus direct $ 60.00
laboratory costs)

3) Plan checks $240.00

B. Private supply (includes cottage food operators)

1) Bacteriological sample(s) ($60.00 plus laboratory $ 60.00(+)
costs as specified in Section V herein)

V. LABORATORY FEES

A. All lab analysis for environmental health sampling including but not limited to those that may be required or necessary for food supplies, pools, spas, recreational bathing areas, hazardous materials, water systems, etc. will be billed to the responsible party as follows: Lab costs plus hourly rate for staff time

associated with sample collection, witnessing, and reporting plus shipping costs.

VI. BODY ART/TATTOO PARLORS, MASSAGE PARLORS

A. Plan check $130.00

B. Permit (annual)* $155.00

C. Body art practitioner (annual certification) $ 30.00

D. Mobile tattoo unit* $130.00

E. Temporary event (tattoo facility station)* $130.00

* For the year 2021 only, qualifying facilities within the marked categories shall receive a COVID-19
credit, net zero dollars ($0.00). The term "qualifying", for purpose of this credit, shall include those
food facilities without a regularly established "drive-thru" window or service prior to January 1,
2020.

VII. HAZARDOUS MATERIALS MANAGEMENT

EXEMPTIONS

Businesses operating a farm for the purpose of $  0.00
cultivating the soil or raising or harvesting any
agricultural or horticultural commodity when
requirements of Section 25503.5(a)(5) of Chapter 6.95
of Division 20 of the California Health and Safety
Code are met

Hazardous materials business plan exemption of $  0.00
businesses that utilize fuels for the sole purpose of
heating and or cooking in the quantities less than or
equal to 500 gallons of a flammable liquid or 1,150
gallons of a flammable gas. Refer to Section 3-
