Chapter 25 — FILING FEES FOR TWENTY-DAY NOTICES BY MECHANICS LIEN CLAIMANTS

Effective July 1, 1988, there is hereby imposed a fee of Forty and no/100ths ($40.00) Dollars for filing every preliminary twenty (20) day notice pursuant to subsection 1 of subsection (o) of Section 3097 of the Civil Code of the State for the exclusive purpose of defraying the cost of implementing and maintaining a system to facilitate compliance with subsection 2 of subsection (o) of said Section 3097.
