Sec. 2-15.01. - Power of the Coroner to embalm and collect fees.¶
Whenever the Coroner takes custody of a dead body pursuant to law, he may embalm the body and collect a fee for such service.

Sec. 2-15.02. - Embalming fees.¶
The Coroner may collect the actual cost to embalm or One Hundred and no/100ths ($100.00) Dollars, whichever is less, from the person entitled to the custody of the body as an embalming fee. If the body to be embalmed is that of a child under the age of fourteen (14) years or if the person entitled to custody of a dead body has less than One Hundred Fifty and no/100ths ($150.00) Dollars in available assets, then there shall be no embalming fee, and the expense shall be a County charge. Any fee collected pursuant to this section shall be deposited in the County Treasury.
