2.100.270 - Table and index.¶
The table and index shall be referred to as "the classification plan of the county of Napa." The classes constitute the classified and nonclassified service and are allocated the range in the standard salary schedule as indicated. Said classification plan may be amended from time to time on recommendation of the county administrator and by resolution of the board of supervisors.

2.100.280 - Department allocation list.¶
The number of positions and classifications in the departmental allocation list shall be established from time to time by resolution of the board of supervisors, identified as the position allocation resolution. No department head shall hire permanent employees in excess of the number of positions allowed within his department by said resolution.
