Divisionl III. - Conservation, Development and Planning Department

2.50.030 - Planning, building and environmental services department.

The planning, building and environmental services department is a department within the county, consisting of a planning division, building division, and environmental services division. The department is composed of the planning director and employees as authorized by the board of supervisors.

2.50.032 - Director—Appointment.

The department shall be administered and supervised by the director of the planning, building and environmental services department (also referred to throughout this code as the planning director), who shall be appointed by the board of supervisors of the county and at a salary to be fixed by the board of supervisors, and who shall hold office at the pleasure of the board.

2.50.034 - Director—Zoning enforcement.

The director shall have charge of the enforcement of the zoning ordinances of the county. The director may appoint one or more deputies to perform zoning enforcement duties either in his/her absence or with his/her concurrence.
