2.24.010 - Oath of office, bond and duties.¶
The person elected to fill the office of district attorney shall take the oath and give the bond required for such office, and shall discharge all duties pertaining to such office. The amount of the bond of the district attorney shall be fixed from time to time by resolution of the board of supervisors.

2.24.020 - Sale of forfeited real property.¶
A. The district attorney is designated, pursuant to California Government Code Section 25538.5, as the county officer authorized to sell any real property seized and forfeited pursuant to California Health and Safety Code Sections 11470 et seq. or California Penal Code Section 186.
B. Such sales shall be conducted in accordance with the procedure set forth in Chapter 2.98, commencing with Section 2.98.010.
C. Unless otherwise designated by the district attorney, the district attorney shall be represented by the county counsel in all matters relating to the administration of such sales. Nothing contained in this chapter shall be construed as prohibiting the district attorney from employing private legal counsel to provide supplementary legal services in connection with such sales if the compensation of such private attorney will be derived solely from the proceeds of the sale or sales in connection with which the services are rendered.

2.24.030 - Distribution of asset forfeiture proceeds.¶
Pursuant to the provisions of Health and Safety Code Section 11489(b)(2)(D), the district attorney is hereby directed to cause to be deposited with the California District Attorneys Association "narcotics assistance and relinquishment by criminal offenders fund" one percent of any remaining funds to be distributed as a result of asset forfeiture actions prosecuted by the district attorney.

2.24.040 - Adherence to POST standards.¶
While receiving state aid from the Peace Officers Training Fund, the county shall, pursuant to Penal Code Sections 13522 through 13524, adhere to the standards for recruitment and training of regularly employed and paid inspectors and investigators of a district attorney's office, established by the Commission on Peace Officers Standards and Training.
