2.12.010 - Eligibility for office of auditor/controller.¶
No person shall be eligible for election to the office of auditor/controller unless that person meets the eligibility requirements of Section 26945 of the Government Code, as such may be amended from time to time.

2.12.012 - Continuing education requirements for office of auditor/controller.¶
After the election of an auditor/controller to office, that person shall, beginning on January 1, 1998, complete a valid continuing course of study as prescribed in Section 26945.1 of the Government Code, as such may be amended from time to time.

2.12.020 - Warrant issuance conditions.¶
The county auditor-controller may issue his warrant on the county treasury in amounts necessary for any claims he/she finds to be a correct and legal charge for expenses even though the claim for such expenses has not been on file in his office at least three days, as is otherwise required by Government Code Section 29742.

2.12.030 - Time of election of auditor-controller.¶
A. Under the authority of Elections Code Section 1300(b)(2), the election to select the office of auditor-controller shall be held with the presidential primary.
B. The auditor-controller elected in 2022 shall serve a six-year term and the next election for that office shall occur at the 2028 presidential primary.
