B8-53. - Pick-ups and deliveries permitted.

B8-51. - Prohibited streets designated.

A. No person may drive or park or permit a commercial vehicle exceeding a gross maximum weight of ten thousand pounds to be driven or parked on the following streets: Name of Street Description Alcosta Boulevard Eastern limits of I-680 interchange to Montevideo Drive Bollinger Canyon Crow Canyon to San Ramon Valley Boulevard Davona Drive Alcosta Boulevard to Montevideo Drive Montevideo Drive San Ramon Valley Boulevard to Alcosta Boulevard Norris Canyon Road Bollinger Canyon Road to San Ramon Valley Boulevard Old Ranch Road Dougherty Road to Alcosta Boulevard Pine Valley Road San Ramon Valley Boulevard to Alcosta Boulevard Stagecoach Road Southern boundary of the city limits to Alcosta Boulevard Village Parkway Southern boundary of the city limits to Alcosta Boulevard

B. No person may drive or park or permit a commercial vehicle exceeding a gross maximum weight of thirty thousand pounds to be driven or parked on the following streets:

C. No person may drive or park or permit a vehicle exceeding a gross maximum weight of thirty thousand pounds to be driven or parked on Crow Canyon Road from the western city limits to the I-680 Interchange. (Prior code §§ B9-20, B9-21)

B8-52. - Exceptions to provisions.

A. This chapter does not apply to a vehicle which is subject to Sections 1031 to 1036 of the Public Utilities Code or any vehicle owned by a public utility or a licensed contractor while necessarily in use in the construction, installation or repair of any public utility. B. The prohibition of the use of streets set forth in this chapter do not apply to a commercial vehicle exceeding the specified gross maximum weight which has its point of origin at an authorized business premises on a restricted street. B8-53. - Pick-ups and deliveries permitted.

A commercial vehicle coming from a restricted street having ingress and egress by a direct route to and from a restricted street may enter and leave by a direct route to and from a restricted street when necessary for the purpose of making a pickup or delivery of goods, wares and merchandise from or to a building or structure located on a restricted street or for the purpose of delivering materials to be used in the repair, alteration, remodeling or construction of a building or structure upon the restricted street.
