A4-31. - Position created.¶
The position of city attorney is created. The city attorney shall be appointed by the city council for a term of four years and may only be removed during any term for neglect of duty, malfeasance or misconduct in office or other good cause. (Ord. 304 § 1, 1998: Prior code § A4-50)

The city attorney shall advise the city officials in all legal matters pertaining to city business, frame all ordinances and resolutions required by the city council and perform such other legal services required from time to time. (Prior code § A4-51)
