A5-21. - Establishment.¶
There is established an architectural review board. The powers and duties of such board shall be as provided by this code. (Ord. No. 481, § 1, 9-11-2018)
A5-22. - Membership.¶
There is created an architectural review board, hereafter referred to as "board," consisting of three members, appointed by the city council through a recommendation by the community development director, having the following composition: A. A professional licensed architect; B. A professional licensed landscape architect; C. One additional member who shall be a professional licensed architect, engineer or person possessed of competent knowledge and ability to perform the architectural review duties set forth in this chapter. The city council, upon recommendation by the community development director, may also appoint three alternate members meeting any of the above-described qualifications. Whenever any regular member of the architectural review board is temporarily unable to act as a member of the board, an alternate member may sit on the board and shall have the same authority to act as a regular member. A5-23. - Term of office.¶
The term of office for the board members shall be two years, unless sooner terminated by reason of death, resignation, disqualification or other cause. (Ord. No. 481, § 1, 9-11-2018)
A5-24. - Rules.¶
The board shall adopt bylaws for the transaction of its business. (Ord. No. 481, § 1, 9-11-2018)
A5-25. - Duties.¶
The board shall perform the duties as set forth in Division D6 of TITLE D of this code. (Ord. No. 481, § 1, 9-11-2018)
