Chapter 7.44 — DISABLED PARKING

7.44.010 - Disabled parking zones.

It is unlawful for any person to park or leave standing any vehicle in a stall or space in an area designated in this Chapter 7.44 for disabled persons' parking, if, immediately adjacent to and visible from such stall or space, there is posted a sign consisting of a profile view of a wheelchair with occupant in white with a blue background or the curb is painted blue with "disabled" stenciled in white upon the top surface unless the vehicle displays either one of the distinguishing license plates or a placard issued pursuant to Section 22511.55 of the California Vehicle Code.

The Board of Supervisors shall, by Resolution, determine and declare disabled parking zone locations.
