5.24.010 - Amusement devices. Licenses required.

(a)

Every person exhibiting, showing, or operating a merry-go-round, Ferris-wheel, toboggan slide, swing, or other similar type of amusement device, and charging a fee for the same, shall procure a License and pay a fee per device of $6.00 per day, $12.00 per month, or $36.00 per year, whichever is less.

(b)

The provisions of this section shall not apply to coin-operated rides or apparatuses, or to devices otherwise Licensed by this ordinance.
