Chapter 3.12 — SOLICITING IN COUNTY COURTHOUSE

3.12.010 - Soliciting prohibited.¶
Every person who shall, without the written approval of the County Manager or his duly authorized representative, upon any property owned or controlled by the County of San Mateo or within the grounds immediately surrounding such property, solicit any contributions for any purpose whatsoever, or who shall sell, offer for sale, or attempt to sell, any tickets, merchandise, chances, or lotteries or other things of value, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.

3.12.020 - Exception.¶
It shall be permissible, however, for persons representing bona fide business firms to sell, offer for sale, and solicit orders for County supplies within the confines of said County property.
