PEX and PE-RT tubing in closed hydronic systems shall contain an oxygen barrier. 1210.4.1 Vented Closed-Loop Systems. All components installed in a vented closed-loop system shall be constructed of non-ferrous or other corrosion resistant

materials.

1210.4.2 Non-Oxygen Barrier Closed-Loop Sys- tems. All components installed in a non-oxygen barrier system shall be constructed of non-ferrous or other corrosion resistant materials.
