13.30.010 - Renaming certain streets.¶
The streets hereinafter described shall be renamed and shall hereafter be known and designated as follows:
Strawberry Drive, as shown on those certain maps entitled Strawberry Manor subdivision two and Strawberry Manor subdivision three, as recorded in volume 6 at pages 97 and 99, respectively, of Official Maps, Marin County, is renamed East Strawberry Drive.
High Court, as shown on that certain map entitled Strawberry Heights subdivision three, and resubdivision of lots one hundred thirty-three and one hundred thirty-four, subdivision one, section two, and lots two hundred sixteen, two hundred seventeen, and two hundred eighteen, subdivision two, Strawberry Heights, as recorded in volume 6 at page 58 Official Maps, Marin County is hereby renamed Lyford Drive and Lyford Drive as shown on said map is hereby renamed Inez Place.
Lyford Drive as shown on the Map of Strawberry Heights, Subdivision 3, as recorded in book 6 at page 68 of Official Maps, Marin County, is renamed "Neider Lane."
That portion of Ricardo Road lying between Strawberry Drive and the California state highway (Redwood Highway), as said roads are shown on that certain map titled Strawberry Heights subdivision two, is renamed West Strawberry Drive.
Knoll Road, as shown on that certain map known as official house numbering map of Alto and vicinity on file in the office of county planning commission, Marin County is renamed Knoll Lane, and Wye Road as shown on said map is renamed Reed Boulevard.

13.30.020 - Adoption of official house numbering map.¶
That certain map entitled "A Portion of the Streets and Highways Master Plan, Marin County, California, known as Official House Numbering Map and Streets and Highways Master Plan of Strawberry Point Neighborhood" said map being filed in the office of the planning commission, is hereby adopted by the county of Marin both for house numbering purposes and for the purpose of naming and designating public streets in said area, provided, however, that the adoption of said map is not intended to act as an acceptance of streets whose dedication is not otherwise accepted, and, as to such streets said official map is to be used for identification only.

13.30.030 - Fixing numbers.¶
All structures abutting on any public street, avenue, drive, road, place or lane in Strawberry Point neighborhood shall be given and marked with an official number. The numbers shall be in accordance with that certain map entitled "A Portion of the Streets and Highways Master Plan, Marin County, California, known as Official House Numbering Map and Streets and Highway Master Plan of Strawberry Point Neighborhood" as hereinbefore adopted. Numbers shall proceed from the smaller number as shown upon said map to the larger numbers. The even numbers shall be given to and placed upon structures fronting on the right side of the streets and the odd numbers shall be given to and placed upon structures fronting on the left side of streets. One number shall be assigned to each lot in single residence districts; two numbers shall be assigned to each lot in duplex districts; and several numbers shall be assigned to each lot in multiple residence districts. Numbers shall be assigned to every thirty-five feet of property frontage in business districts.
In case of doubt or where a question arises as to the proper number to be assigned to any structure, the planning commission or an officer or employee of said commission, designated for such purpose shall decide the question and fix the number of such structure.

13.30.040 - Numbers required.¶
The number plate, placed upon any building shall be metal or wood or plastic, or the number may be painted on the front of the building door, post, transom or other place. The number shall be at least three inches in height and shall be so placed as to be easily seen from the street.

13.30.050 - Duty to affix number.¶
If the owner or lessee of any building shall fail, refuse or neglect to place the number or to replace it when necessary the planning commission or an officer or employee of said commission, designated for such purpose, and upon order of this board of supervisors shall cause notice to be personally served on the owner or lessee or mailed by registered mail to his last known address ordering him to place or replace the number. The owner or lessee shall comply with the notice within ten days from the date of service.

13.30.060 - Severability.¶
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of this chapter is for any reason held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion of this chapter. The board of supervisors hereby declares that it would have passed this chapter and each section, subsection, sentence, clause and phrase irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, sentences, clauses or phrases be declared invalid.
