13.18.010 - Unlawful obstructions.

It is unlawful to install or maintain any sign, fence, hedge, shrubs, natural growth or any other view obstructions which extend more than two feet six inches above the street level of any adjacent intersection, within the area between the property line and a diagonal line joining points on the property lines which are thirty-five feet from their intersection, as extended (as depicted on Exhibit 1).

13.18.020 - Public nuisances.

Any sign, fence, hedge, shrubs, natural growth or other view obstruction which is installed or maintained contrary to the provisions of Section 13.18.010 shall be deemed to be a public nuisance which may be abated at the expense of the property owner in accordance with the provisions of Section 13.18.030.

13.18.030 - Procedure for removal or correction.

If the director of public works determines that a public nuisance exists in contravention of this chapter, he shall render notice thereof and institute proceedings for the abatement of such nuisance in the manner provided in Chapter 1.05 of this code.
