Monterey County Municipal Code Ch. 2.90 Monterey County Boards and Commissions

Monterey County Boards and Commissions which are subject to the Ralph M. Brown Act shall follow the standards in the procedures adopted by the Board of Supervisors regarding Notice of Meetings, and consideration of agenda items as set forth in Sections 2.04.130, 2.04.150 and 2.04.240 of this Code. It is the intent of this Section to supplement State laws regarding open meetings by providing opportunity for public comment. In case of conflict with State law, the State law shall apply unless this Section permits more public participation than State law. Each Board and Commission shall adopt procedures to fit its own requirements, but which incorporate the standards specified herein.
