2.69.010 - Processing requests.

A person or agency entitled to be furnished with copies of Public Safety Communication records will submit a focused and specific written request for the information. A "Request for Master Tape Recording" form may be obtained at the Office of Emergency Services.

Upon completion of the request, the person or agency requesting the information will be notified of the processing fees and will be asked to pick up the requested information within fourteen (14) days unless other arrangements are made with the Office of Emergency Services. The fees must be paid on or before the date that the requested information is claimed.

2.69.020 - Fees.

One copy of information contained on a Master Public Safety Communications Tape will be provided at no cost to any agency under contract with the Monterey County Office of Emergency Services, Public Safety Communications. The fees listed in the Monterey County Fee Resolution shall be charged for a subsequent request from that agency for the same incident or any other request from persons or agencies entitled to information contained in public safety communications.
