2.72.010 - Declaration of desire to receive aid.

The County of Monterey declares that it desires to qualify to receive aid from the State of California under the provisions of Chapter 1 of Title 4, Part 4, of the California Penal Code.

2.72.020 - Adherence to standards.

Pursuant to Section 13522 of Chapter 1, of Title 4, Part 4, of the California Penal Code, the County of Monterey, while receiving aid from the State of California pursuant to said Chapter 1, will adhere to the standards for recruitment and training established by the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training.

2.72.030 - Peace officer standards and training for public safety dispatchers.

A. The County of Monterey declares that it accepts the requirements of Section 13510 Subdivision (c) of Chapter 1, Title 4, Part 4 of the California Penal Code and will adhere to the standards for recruitment and training established by the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training for public safety dispatchers.

B. The County of Monterey will adhere to the requirements of Section 13512 of Chapter 1, Title 4, Part 4 of the California Penal Code that the Commission and its representatives may make such inquiries as deemed appropriate by the Commission to ascertain that public safety dispatcher personnel of the County of Monterey adhere to standards for selection and training established by the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training.
